SwyliPrivacy Policy
What Swyli accesses
- Your photo library, only with your permission. You choose full access or selected photos, and you can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos.
- Swyli reads photos and videos to show them to you, to sort them, and to find possibly similar photos. The similarity check runs on your device using Apple's Vision framework.
- Swyli does not download originals from iCloud to analyse them. Items stored only in iCloud may appear without a preview.
- Your contacts, only if you open the Contacts tools and allow access. Swyli reads them on your iPhone to find duplicates and incomplete contacts. It changes or deletes contacts only after you confirm.
- Your Gmail account, only if you choose Sign in with Google in Email Cleaner. Swyli then reads message details (sender, subject, date, labels, a short preview, and unsubscribe headers) and, when you open an email, its text, so it can count, list and clean emails in the categories you pick. It moves emails to Gmail Trash or unsubscribes only when you ask. Everything is processed on your iPhone and sent only between your iPhone and Google. Swyli has no server and never stores your emails.
- Storage figures that iOS reports: free and total device space, and the size of media files already on your iPhone. They are shown to you and are not sent anywhere.
What Swyli stores on your device
- The photos you marked as protected, saved as Photos identifiers, not copies of the images.
- A local index of photo details (identifiers, dates, types and sizes) so the app opens faster. It contains no images and is excluded from device backups.
- How many deletions you made today, for the free daily limit.
- Whether you finished the introduction screens.
- If you sign in with Google: a sign-in token in the iPhone Keychain (this device only) so you stay signed in, and the senders you chose to keep. Signing out revokes access at Google and removes the token.
- Backups of contacts you chose to delete or merge (vCard files), so you can restore them. You can share or remove them from the Backups screen.
These files stay inside the app's private storage on your iPhone and are deleted when you delete the app. They are never sent to a server.
Google user data
Swyli's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to provide the email cleaning features you request, is not used for advertising, is not sold, and is not transferred to anyone. No person reads your emails. You can remove Swyli's access at any time from your Google Account (Security → Third-party apps with account access) or by signing out in Swyli.
When you unsubscribe from a mailing list, Swyli uses the sender's own unsubscribe method: it contacts the sender's unsubscribe address, sends an unsubscribe email from your account, or opens the sender's page.
Deleting photos
Swyli never deletes anything without your confirmation. Every deletion goes through Apple's Photos confirmation dialog. Deleted items move to the Recently Deleted album in Photos, where iOS keeps them for up to 30 days.
Purchases
Subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. Swyli receives only the purchase status needed to unlock features. We never see your payment details, Apple ID or billing address. Apple's handling of this data is described in Apple's Privacy Policy.
What we do not do
- No account or sign-in
- No analytics, advertising or tracking
- No crash-reporting service
- No servers — Swyli's only network requests go to Apple, to Google when you use Email Cleaner, and to a sender's unsubscribe address when you unsubscribe
- No sale or sharing of data with third parties
Children
Swyli is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.

בקצרה: Swyli פועלת כולה על האייפון שלך. התמונות והסרטונים לא יוצאים מהמכשיר, ואיננו אוספים, שומרים, מוכרים או משתפים מידע אישי.
- גישה לתמונות: רק באישורך, מלאה או לתמונות נבחרות, וניתנת לשינוי בכל עת בהגדרות iOS. זיהוי תמונות דומות מתבצע על המכשיר.
- אנשי קשר: רק אם פתחת את כלי אנשי הקשר ואישרת גישה. הקריאה נעשית על המכשיר, ושינוי או מחיקה רק לאחר אישורך. לפני כל מחיקה או מיזוג נשמר גיבוי vCard במכשיר.
